K2007 Multi-Editor Project!
« on: September 17, 2006, 08:56:36 pm »
You've seen the Animix project, the DDR projects, & the AMV Hell projects.
On or BEFORE NEXT WEEKEND we will launch the K2007 Multi Editor Project!

Watch for the URL here, in ONE week or LESS!

We are planning 60 - 120 tracks; 15 - 30 min long.
TEN 'phases' or sub-themes, including two music mix sections!
(Music tracks will be posted for d/l next week.) The other tracks are 15 - 30 sec long and chosen by each/any creator, according to the theme of each 'phase.' YOU get to make this up as we go along!

Participation in this multi-editor project is open to ALL - including staff - and is entirely independent of the Kumoricon 2007 AMV contest, pre-show, or AMV show. ALL are welcome to jump in & give this a go!

You all RAWK - this should be a BLAST!!!

- G!

Well, my Tech in the Classroom class is teaching me how to make things like AMVs, so I guess I could try to make something and squeeze a prof for extra credit as well! ^.^
No, I'm not insane.  I'm just... happy.

[See new thread]

And yes, anyone and everyone is welcome to chip in.
Also, since the clips and fragments tend to be SHORT, this is a great way for novice editors or people who have never made a full-length AMV before to jump in and try something without short & funny without  comitting to a full-length song.

Out of curiosity, how many responses have been given to this project so far? Including PM's and such? Are we signing up to do specific bits, say I want to do a classroom antic, does that take one of those slots, leaving 11 slots in that category? If so, what's been claimed so far? I just want to make sure I'm understanding this project appropriately. Thanks!

So, basically we choose a variety of footage with a track you will supply for us?  And we show the edits at the opening ceremony of the con?  Coolies!  I'm in!  I hope I can get something together by then but I'd love to join.

Hey gang - hope everyone had a good Christmas, Hannukah, and anything else you celebrated. Personally I had a BLAST and I am just back from Vega$$$.

Anyways: I have JUST put up the first music track list at:

http://www.opusnet.com/guy1656/K2007-MEP.htm

It's the last chart, but the order of the charts isn't NECESSARILY the final order of the project.

More info and answers to your questions on a NEW thread.

2007 MEP - Cancelled.

I am cancelling the 2007 Multi Editor Project.
There have been ZERO inquiries at this time.

Perhaps we can try something else for 2008.
