Question on picking up badges....?

From what I did learn from SakuraCon, we were able to pick up badges on thursday, the day before the convention started.
Are we able to do that here? My group is coming in on friday and have a lot of time to kill. It'd be nice to pick up our badges then if we could. So we don't have to deal with it saturday morning.

Well, if you all pre-registered then your badges are going to be mailed out to you. This is to streamline check-in. So, as far as I know, unless you pay and register at the Con, then your badge is either mailed to you, (or you have it already because you registered at minicon). So yeah, no more picking up badges.

My cousin and I opted to have our badges picked up at the convention, though. =/
And I did pre-register, so I'm curious if we can just pick those up friday.

Uh, I hope a mod didn't take it down...

Pre-Reg will open our lines at 6:00pm. I say we because I'll be sitting in Vallie's chair (she'll be getting off work in Portland at that time). All Pre-Reg attendees will be able to get their Will Call Badges at that time. People who already have badges will be able to pick up the rest of their stuff for the convention (as in the swag bag and lanyard) that night so they don't have to hassle with the lines in the morning.

We want to be done by 10 so at 9:45 a yojimbo will be cutting off the line so nobody can get in line. All of the people that are currently in line before 9:45 will be processed and given their stuff.

So think of it Pre-Reg being open from 6-9:45 on Friday night.

I suggest lining up at 5:30pm on Friday near (but not on) the wheelchair ramp.

Hello all! I just have a quick question about the Friday night check in. (I hope this isn't too off topic)

Can you also get your props peacebonded at this check in or do you need to do that on the actual convention day?

You can get peace bonds on Friday night. I believe all yojimbo will have some with them. If not just stop by the info booth. After you're done with reg.

On a related note,
My friend is selling padded "boffer" swords in the vendor room and he will be peace bonding items himself when they are sold.
