General RPG characters photoshoot

Who all here plans on dressing as a character from an RPG? I'm gonna try to schedule a shoot for general RPG characters and it'd be great to see a lot of cosplayers of RPGs together.

I will be Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It is the movie, but it is based on an RPG, do you think that counts? Well, either way, I will be at the FF photoshoot for sure. This one would be fun too, though. ^_^

Of course it counts. RPG-based shows and movies are as fair game as RPGs themselves.

But that's not bad thing. Especially for FF cosplayers who might not be able to make the FF shoot.

For those who would like to participate in this shoot, what do you think think would be a good time and place to hold it?

The time actually hasn't been posted on this thread yet, so I'll do it for you guys.

The RPG Shoot is at 11AM on Saturday, which is the same time as the Tales of (Abyss, Symphonia, Legendia, etc) photoshoot, in the park. We'll have seperate shoots (mostly for the Tales people to get some neat poses with characters that know each other), then we'll combine both to have a larger group picture of all the RPG charries. Be there or be square!!

And if the weather's rainy, we'll probably either meet out there then figure out a place inside to do a shoot, or meet at the nearest door.

Once at the con I heard it was slotted for sunday?

Well, I don't think it ever got enough support to happen. I was planning on going (as I read it was scheduled for Saturday at 11:00am), but there was no location specified, so I assumed the park. I went over there and saw nobody who could be lumped together as RPG characters, so I hung around for some minutes then just went off and did something else. It was fine though, cause I still had my FF photoshoot to look forward to.

I thought the shoot was on Sunday at 11:00, so I told everyone who was planning on being there that it was at that time. I didn't write down the scheduled times for the shoots. I thought they were gonna be posted at the con's info booth and because they weren't posted there and because I didn't write down the scheduled times I got them mixed up, so I apologize for the mess-up. Even though the Kumoricon staff needs to start to post photoshoot schedules at the info booth for now on, like they do at Sakura Con.

A few people, however did show up for the RPG shoot at 11:00 on Sunday and we did get a few pictures from it.

Ah, that would explain some confusion. Yeah, I was already in the park at 11:00 for the FF photoshoot (which started at 10:00). I didn't really stick around though. Dag!

Yeah, I was already there for the Kingdom Hearts shoot as Axel. XD
