Is Crossplay all i have left?

I never, EVER, want to hurt my hair. However, its getting harder and harder to find things to cosplay that incorperates it. Im honestly thinking of Crossplaying next year, unless i get too heartset on being Indigo Montoya, just for the hell of it. Anyway, my reason for this post is thus: Im tall, thin, and have long, VERY DARK brown hair. This year i was Vincent. Any ideas on who i could Cosplay?

Crossplay wise, i was thinking Rose from Dragoon....

Let's see, I think you could successfully pull off the following male characters:
- Darcia (Wolf's Rain)
- Tseng (Final Fantasy VII)
- Nero (Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus)
- Skurai (Ragnarok the manga)

Those are some that come to mind at the moment (and in my opinion they are all awesome characters. Best of luck finding some good cosplay options!

We have a Legend of Dragoon group forming for SCon 08. We have Shana, Dart, and POSSIBLY Albert, but no Rose.

There needs to be more LOD cosplay.

There's always wigs. There are plenty of male characters with hair that isn't too short to be a wig. But crossplay is always fun! ^^

Not positive im going to SCon though, and if i did i would be Vincent agian, as i make my costumes during the summer. Although your definatly right, LoD is underrated >.<

My hair's about as long, if not longer than yours, and I can still do wigs. If you look on the Cosplay.com forums, there's a few threads on getting long hair under wigs. One thing they don't mention that I've noticed: style your wig smaller volume-wise than it should be, cuz all your hair under it will give it more volume. Just a tip. ^^

What about whats his name, from Fusdhigi Yugi?  Angsty prince guy?  um..Hotohori, I think it was?  Him.  You might have to straighten your hair, but that shouldn't damage it (as long as you don't do it every day).  And I agree, there are definately ways to get long hair into wigs...I know a number of long-haired friends who've managed it.
