Heh, I'm in the same boat.  I still recommend it though, because of the number of us that'll be there so Ultrazone doesn't give us any grief.

OK, so Vallie's new schedule has her working until 9pm on Friday nights. I don't think that she'll be up for doing anything active after her 10 hour shift but we'll see.

As far as prices to rent the place.....
http://www.ultrazoneportland.com/groups.htm

Laser Tag # People      14 - 29        30 - 49            50 & over
2 Games                 $14/person   $13/person   $12/person
3 GAMES                 $18/person   $17/person   $16/person
3 Games with
Teamwork Training  $20/person      $19/person   $18/person
Each Extra Game      $4.00/person      $4.00/person   $4.00/person

So.....do we have 15 people yet?
I think that 3 games is the best because it give you chances to work on strategy.

Tentative list......
Hawkeye
Kylite
Jaz
Chris (kendo)
Tom
Vallie (not on friday...)
Kyuubi?
Seraph?
Jasonqdavis
dakrum
Mustash
LitofFey
rictheron
Zhalfirin

Oh yeah! Somebody get their paperwork!
We should get some of the people coming from Euegen in on this and then offer them space to crash so they can stay in Portland for the elections!

I left this thought open for one and all, it's just a matter of whether or not they felt they could make it.  I definitely want to rent the facility out, just now is not the time.  We need to plan that one a little more in advance, but definitely do-able.  I'm going to make the phone call today or tomorrow to reserve the bracelets, so consider this a final head count.

Ultrazone out in Milwaukie.
HOLY NUTS YOU SPELLED MILWAUKIE RIGHT HIGH FIVE.

Anyway, just go to Ultrazone around 8-o-clock on any friday and it's $18 to play 'til midnight.  You're welcome.  You can call beforehand and have them hold some tickets for you if you won't be there on time and want to make sure you get in.

I'm not planning on going on the 5th, but maybe in a few months when I have money I'll teach ya'll how to play with lazahs. 8)

Of course you can Tom, we'll have Patrick pick you up as he's offered to help with rides.  I've got 20 bracelets set aside for congoers/constaff for this Friday night, be there by 7:30 if you can, whatever bracelets are left at 7:45 they'll release back to the general public.  They would definitely appreciate bringing your badges if you can.

I'm set to attend, but I'm wondering if rides are possible afterwards?  I currently live in vancouver, but buses will be done with by the time we're done so I hoping for ride(or someplace I can crash).

@hawkeye
I presume you mean any con badge?

yes, your con badge from '07, doesn't matter if you're staff or an attendee

Yay.
Gotta find my con badge!

So how much is this gonna cost again? I know I posted the price listings up there but what package are we going with? The $18 all nighter or a private game session?

Also, do they have a snackbar at Ultrazone where we can buy nachos and stuff (or *gasp* maybe real food!?) or should I wolf down some leftovers when I get out of work? Do we have a dinner plan?

I'll PM Patrick about where I should meet him.

We're doing Friday night Frenzy, it'll be $18.  They do have a small snack bar, and a McDonald's in the parking lot, but eating first never hurts.  I do want to plan a private session sometime in the near future though.  Besides Tom, if you find your badge now, you'll have it for the meeting on Sunday.

REMEMBER ALL be there by 7:30 if you can.  thats when they start selling the bracelets that grant u entrance, and the fun begins at 8pm sharp and goes until midnight

games average 10-15 minutes depending on how big of a crowd.

Unless their pump machine has improved dramatically, it's the worst Pump Machine in the Pacific Northwest.  If you want pump, go to Big Al's in Vancouver and play Pump Pro. xP

They have a ump it up machine?!  OMG I am definitely going! Are there anyone other pump it up or DDR machines in Vancouver other than the one in the regal on 164th?

Yeah, they've had it for a while now.  They don't have happy hour on wednesday any more though.

I don't think there are any other pump machines in Vancouver (besides that and the one in the Regal).  PSU may soon have a Pump NX machine though.  If you see Kyle (KeeL/Kyle Ward) there, you can ask him.  He'd be the one who'd know.
