So I need some opinions...

Here it goes, My name is Kalagei, and I've been living in Eugene Oregon for about 2 years now. In this time I've noticed that there is a huge anime fan base here, but not a whole lot of places in the area to acquire anime merchandise. So, some freinds of mine and I are planning on opening an anime/manga/games shop in the second quarter of 2008. What I want to know, (and If I'm stepping on the forum rules, please let me know mods) is how many people here would shop at a store that stocked the following things:

Anime DVDs (with rentals)
Manga
Anime Merch (Shirts, bags, general anime related things)
Food Stuffs (Such as pocky, ramune, hello panda etc...)
Trading card games (MTG, Pokemon, Yu Gi Oh etc...)

and also did the following events:

Halo 3, SSBB, and other multiplayer games
Had an anime viewing room with anime night
and had pay to play game systems (wii/ps3/360/gcn/sega DC)
arcade games (DDR, Dance Maniax, Guilty Gear XX, maybe even touhou if we can figure out how to get one)
Magic Tourneys (maybe FNM)

does this seem like the sort of place Eugeneians would hang out?

I would love feedback, we are dedicated to figuring out a way to have a cool store that anime geeks like us can come hang out at...

Oh, wow! I live about an hour from Portland, but I would SO come! You might also want to think about making your own desserts/food! But, I have a friend who would want to come and I would totally love to come. Also, think about contests [i.e. cosplay, lolita].

I would probably stop by if I were in the area, but you definitely should look into buying and selling used manga and dvds because slashed prices are always nice =D

I'd definitely chill there if you had some good coin-op games (see Ground Kontrol for what good coin-op games are) if I start going to UofO, since they closed the on-campus arcade this summer "because it was bothering pool classes".  I wouldn't go there from Portland, since everything I need is here already, but if I were living in Eugene right now, I'd be willing to kill for some decent video gamin'.
