Whats a Temari cosplayer to do?

ok so yeah, basically ive been scowering the interwebz for information, and failing badly.

I plan on doing a temari cosplay for kumoricon next year, and i WILL have the fan.

only one problem, how does one obtain/make a fan?


ive seen a bunch of tutorials, where they bought a big fan off Ebay and painted it, or made it from scratch blah blah blah

well those tutorials are basically useless 80% of the time.

because alot of tutorials expect you to already know how to do it, theyre just listing materials.

SO i need help, can ANYONE either tell/show me where i can find a big fan to paint, or find/make me a detailed tutorial on how to make it?

because at this point im wiling to do either.

thnk you, but alas no. i already watched that and it shows how to paint it once you have the fan.

I dont have the fan.

What i need is a tutorial how to make the fan itself or a sit that seels fans like 4 and a half feet tall when closed or something.

Well, there's this fan on ebay. I'm sure you could find others. That's just the first one that popped up when I searched "Temari fan." ^^

Oh, and here's some HUGE ones. o.O

i dont know how you did it, but you found what i needed! ive been doing searches on ebay all day and i never even found these!

I am also going as Temari to Kumoricon. For my fan i just had a big oriental fan laying around and I painted the back of it. You can always go into China town and get one. It might be cheaper than paying $25 for the fan and the $60 for shipping.

I dont have a china town near me to my knowledge, but ebay is my new best friend!

We're going to be cosplaying the same version of temari. Pictures with me?

Oh hell yes! ^_^ Are you going to Kumoricon lite next weekend? I will also be there. I just can't wait to try out my costume so I convinced a few of my friends to cosplay with me.

Woah, I was considering going as Temari with hand fans XD
I'm probably going to Kumoricon Lite, but probably as Misa Amane, School girl version.
