[Silent Hill] 2008 Cosplay

I know I can't be the only one cosplaying Silent Hill this year! I did a little forum search and discovered, to my dismay, that a good portion of the Silent Hill threads I could find were one through three years old. D:

Anyway, I'm going to be Heather from SH3, and I've got everything all set up.. wig included. I'm so excited. :3 I heard that a friend of a friend is going as James, and read somewhere that there was a possible SH photoshoot idea a while ago.

Aaaaanyway, who else is planning on cosplaying Silent Hill/knows someone who's cosplaying Silent Hill this year?

There will be a PH and I will be myself (A demon nurse from SH3) on Tuesday, only.

I always cosplay from SH at the cons I go to, so you'll never be alone with me there! My friend may or may not be doing his James cosplay again.  Still unsure, but it looks like the underwear Douglas thing isn't working out this year, but possibly @ Sakuracon

Zombieface and I will be going as identical-ish Pyramid-Head and Femme-Head. He'll be the one with the ridiculously huge knife.. I'll be the female Py-Head with a cute chibi machete =D

I never got to chat with you, my dearest! I was sad. I was also extra sad that I didn't bring any SH cosplay this year. Things... didn't work out. Like, hair, and having no time to plan for con before con, my room looking like a tornado hit it... yeah. I did represent in the survival horror game department as Jill, but, I was so sad not to have my SH groove on. But next con! There will be SO much Silent Hill cosplay at my next con. Yessss.

I took a long sabbatical from my anime/gaming/horror obsessions to pay off some bills and crap like that which is why I haven't been around anywhere until... well, pretty much con this year was me coming back to everything. Is the email you list on the forum still your main email that you check? I'd like to get back in touch, heck maybe we could even vaguely plan Silent Hill stuff for next year, in that sorta random way we did in '05? It might be fun. (Drop me a line by email if you're interested or reply here. I might be staff again next year, too. We'll see how it goes.)

Btw, does anyone here know the crossplayer who did Travis from SH Origins? Or does anyone at least have a pic they could send me? I was jazzed about how many -different- SH cosplays were at Kumori08, but I have yet to obtain photographic evidence of the Travis-ness...

I am thinking of retiring the nurse costume.  It's been messed up for a long time and I've gained weight, so it fits too tightly!

I want to make a dark Heather cosplay, though.  If I decide to go to K-con next year we should get together again!  Our cosplay skit was awesome XD
