The rules for this protest will be very similar to the last one. I will come up with a set of recommended guidelines for the protest, and add additional information as it comes in. I am going to try to coordinate the media this time around.

Hmmm...tempting. My daughter's best friend has been enrolled against her will at the Delphian School in Sheridan (Scientology boarding school). The kid is a former K-Con attendee, and HATES it there.

What does she have to do to get expelled? Bonus if it's something that won't affect enrollment at a school she /may/ actually learn something useful at (or even not hate... I refuse to be hopeful enough that anyone would like another in anything but comparison.).

At this point, she's decided to just go through her courses as fast as she can so that she can get out of there. The courses are semi-independent study and she can leave as soon as she's completed them all, no matter where she is in the school year. Technically, she's a sophomore this year, but thinks she can get it all done by Spring of '09.

Yes, I went to the same school as Matt Groenig. The elk is one block north on SW Main.

No, Mr. Burns is based on a nasty, chrotchety old right-winger who teaches government, Mr. Bailey.

Groenig graduated in '72; I graduated in '95. I was in middle school when the Simpsons began to air as a regular prime time show.

Anonymous is everywhere.

There was a pretty good amount of people...enough to fill up two sides of a block.
We passed by a few times, and stayed a little to hold up signs and stuff.
