Every college has pros and cons ::)
I think it's a good University, to be honest. Everyone has their own opinions though and I've met some who enjoy it and some who absolutely loathe it... but hey, that's how it goes. The main thing is whether or not it provides a degree in what you'd like to major in.
Personally, I think it will be more bearable than it sounds on this forum lol xD

^ Well, that's because it is.  If you want something not made of fail, try transferring to Lewis & Clark or something.

Well if I had the money I would've gone to L&W

yeah PSU has its ups n downs but its a good school, lots of event happen year round too
it was clear early on that the japanese lang program at psu is weird, but i do want to make the diffence clear, its the japanese language program that has problems, there are plenty of other japanese classes at psu, japanese drama, lit (2 differnt types offer reading in english or japanese), film, geography and work shops in the summer  alternating yearly kyogen and kabuki,
they is nothing wrong with these classes to be clear, and its enought to get a minor in japanese
do nee to notethat some of these classes are only offerd certin parts of the year
superjaz, that is jaz with one z count'um ONE z!
