Okay, semi-random topic here. And I tend to ramble, so I hope you're comfortable.
To start, I can't draw...I'm crap. Don't get me wrong, I'm better than I ever thought I could get, but I'm still nowhere near where I'd like to be, and haven't the patience to try.
Now I've been a big fan of comics (American Style, not manga. examples follow)

Not that I dislike the Japanese style (what would I be doing here if that were the case?) But I've always liked American comicing. I've wanted to try it for a long time, but I really don't have a talent for drawing, and I've come to terms with this. Though, I'm not a bad writer, so I've been told...
So, recently I decided that I could be a comic
writer, and partner up with an artist, like Apple Geeks (it's a hilarious online comic written by one guy, and drawn by another, but I didn't want to bombard you with more links).
So, I've been looking for artists who'd be interested in drawing a comic series with me. I'm planing on having this series continue for a little, so it'd be a pretty decent commitment, hopefully a weekly/bi-weekly update, for as long as we can keep it goin'.
I've written out the first three (or is it four?) comics, and have a brief character sheet written up as well. The character sheet is what I've been using as an audition piece.
*phew* okay! So, now comes the point of all this.
Anyone interested? If you are, let me know, and I can send the audition to you right away! Also, while I'm looking for a more western style of comicing, if you're used to drawing anime/manga-style and want to give it a go, feel free to get in on this.
Hope to hear from you, or if you know someone, let them in on this.
[Edit] so far there has been little interest, but if you have any questions, don't forget to check the responses made already.
