L or Sakura?

Okay...So I currently have a dilemma. I have one cosplay that I have, and one cosplay that I mostly have. But, I love both. Ok...So here's the dilemma in detail. I just got my hair cut, and upon finding Death Note, realized how freaking similar it was to L's. [It's a LOT like the Live-Action L] And L's costume is easy, but I love his character and think I can pull of a pretty good L.

Then, there's Haruno Sakura. I already have the wig, but the costume's $90 and I got $20. I know there's a while to save up, but I'm planning on spending stuff at the Con itself. I have the props, ect, but not the costume itself. Also, Death Note isn't as popular as Naruto, and I still have another 50 or so chapters left to read... I'll finish it by Sunday.....



So, Sakura or L. Now, before you base these simply on your opinoin, here's the costumes[head shot only].

I always have to chose L. I don't even like sakura ^_^

XD Not a lot of people do! That's why I was kind of leaning towards L. But, I don't know if it's too....Simple to use for the Con. XD I'm definetly wearing it to a few meet-ups, though.

Well I think you're going to run into one thing either way.

There will probably be a lot of Sakuras and a Lot of Ls running about. They're both characters that many people go as. So don't let that be a deciding factor for you.

:3 I will say that you make a very good L. But that Sakura picture is very good as well. ^^; So I'm not really going to help in the end.

Well, here's some news about the L. I did my makeup and hair different now. I got some advice from some people on cosplay.com, and they helped a lot. I made my eyes like a little more 'natural' (AKA smearing them slightly and adding purple and black eyeshadow XD), my hair poofier and spikier, and my complexion lighter. So, here's the final result.....For L. NOTE: No image editing or backgrounds were used at all...This is exactly how the pictures were taken.

Well, I personally love your Sakura and think there's too many Ls, but you make a good L too. ^^ I think you should choose the one you'd like to act like the most. It's a literal pain in the back to be L for a day, but if that doesn't bug you, I have no reason why you should or shouldn't do either one. XD Either way, I'm sure they'll both be great! ^^
