So, I have a friend who's never cosplayed something that she's REALLY REALLY wanted to do. Most of the time she just goes as a side character to tag along with me and my friends but I'm sure that that's not nearly as satisfying for her which leads me to my question.... *ahem*... How did everyone make their akatsuki cosplay outfits? You know, the black outfit with the red and white clouds, etc. ,etc.
I'm not an expert at sewing but I think it would be a wonderful surprise to throw a tobi costume together since she's such a huge fan. She's already bought all of the materials but every person she's received help from... well... they haven't been much help at all.
Thanks in advance to any ideas, basic patterns that I can look for, or simply any advice at all. I think this could be a cool thing to do for a fellow cosplayer and friend of 15 years
