Alright, so this is a little bit of a saddish story. Me and my friends where trying to work on getting a cosplay made for a friend. But its really hard to get money together sometimes. We are worried we won't be able to accomplish our task. Our quest... is a simple one, to get a new Naruto- Shippuden Cosplay and wig for our friend Sarah. Why do you ask? Because something happened to her other.

The reason behind the quest:
We all hung out at Saya-chans picnic where old Kumoricon was held. Apparently our friend Sara our Toriatama Naruto cosplayer had a mix up with her parents. It resulted with her near tears, and upon returning home, her dad taking a knife to her cosplay. Me and the other members of Toriatama set out to accomplish the task of getting her a new one, so she would have a cosplay for Kumoricon.

I find this task may be too big for most of us, as a majority of our cosplay group, are minors. We need help, we would love if anyone would be willing to donate any of the following:
Full Cosplay and Wig (I know high hopes, and it would have to be on the smallish size as Sarah is about 5'2'' ish...)
If not a full cosplay then
Material to make the cosplay
Head band
Kunai and Shuriken and packs to hold them
Wig (prestyled is awesomeness)
Someone willing to donate their time before con to make the cosplay.

I know me and my friends intended this to be a surprise for Sarah, but I finally realized this is a task too momentous for us to take on our own. So I reach out to my cosplay friends, and fellow con goers. Help a cosplayer in need, and help us accomplish our quest.

I even HAVE a Naruto Shippuden cosplay (no wig), but it's too big for me, and would probably be for her. ): On the other hand, if we had someone would could take fabric and make it for a smaller size, that's a whole other story.

Is this the Naruto friend that I met? At Saya's party? Whether or not it is, I will stop at NOTHING to help her!

yes thats the one you are talking about. Our Narutos cosplay was shredded by her dad. ^_^ We need to hopefully get her a completed one before con, to give it to her. Thats why I asked for help, I realized it was just too big of a task for us to take on.

A knife to clothing? I mean, it's not so much that it was her cosplay and it was great and everything, but why would a father EVER have the right to do that to their kid's property? For what reason?

That kind of thing makes me mad.

I don't have any naruto stuff to donate, sadly, but I think that this is a wonderful way to help your friend. Gosh, I would cry too if my dad ever did something like that

You know I bought a pretty cheap Shippuden Naruto set.

I got it from toycup.com

It's under the Naruto section then cosplay. I'm only 5' 3" and the small fit me pretty good.

I have a medium that I'd be willing to let her borrow, but it IS really big. XD It's that exact costume.

Are you serious? XD that means we only have to get a wig. I seriously wanted to try and get her one for keeps and stuff... ^^;;; but maybe that can be a long term project?

Hope that'd work, but there's still the 'I-bought-you-a-outfit-and-you-didn't-wear-it-and-gave-it-to-a-friend' thing that they have the right to be upset about. XD I'd have to find a way for them to either 1) want me to give it away or 2) feel like It wouldn't make a difference.

I know Devin has a headband that she is just using for decoration so I bet she will let you borrow it. But it sounds like you may have found a solution. If you need it let me know and I'll try to bring it to the picnic.

Dude! Great news! I got a Naruto wig. =D But it's slightly stupid...like, hard to put on, more like. The story of how I got it is lonnggg. XD

Sai is indeed a smexy beast, but underneath the underneath he's a bit of a jerk

As for your friend in need, I wish I could help, but the only Naruto merhcandise I own is a big-headed Rock Lee plushie. I hope I can see her/him at KCon though!
