are you having any specific problems when it comes to cosplaying that you need tips for?
When i was first cosplaying, I googled "cosplay tips" and read pretty much everything that seemed legit. It really helps! ^^

Er... Well, it's pretty general. You don't really need to look like a character, just to like them! From there, just..... Well it depends on the costume... Honestly, you can find answers to the questions you get by just googling them. >3<

well find a character you like. know if it's a popular show/character there will be many other cosplays of it. crossplay is always acceptable. :3 and theirs always help out there on how to make the costume itself and how to make the other parts of the cosplay itself. that's mostly the just of what you should know.
