Sake and Beer Tasting Info
« on: September 05, 2008, 03:53:00 pm »
Hey, I was wondering if we could get some of the info from the sake and beer tasting.  Unfortunately I forgot my pen and paper, so I didn't get to write a lot of stuff down.

Is there a way to get a hold of Marcus (the sake distributor)?  I would really like to get a list of available sake and typical pricing.

Marcus works for SakeOne they are the distributing company for local brands as Moonstone and Momokawa. you can check them out online at Sakeone.com or if you are so inclined go visit them in Forest Grove "Tasting Room Hours: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, seven days a week."

List of what was sampled:
Murai Nigori Genshu
Moonstone coconut lemongrass
Eiko Fuji Ban Ryu
Sake2me Ginger Mango
Kiuchi Premium Plum Wine
Shichi Hon Yari

sorry I don't give out people's contact info online, but there is a nice "contact us" page on the SakeOne website. Also they will have a table at the upcoming Japanese Days at Uwajimaya on the 27/28th of this month.
