Endangered species! Because many species have earned that status thanks to humans, I think that's totally wrong ;_;

By the way stash, you spelled "survey" wrong in the OP :D

ALL OF THEM.

but to be more specific I'd probably say......global warming because it sort of ties all of these topics together. :/

I can't really fully decide.

I fear stupidity disguised as leadership in determining actual policy towards the physical world. In other words elected leaders, or clueless bureaucrats using bad science to make real world policy decisions. See if you can find the Michael Crichton talk on C-Span. I can't find it. I only saw it on C-Span.

Allowing gay marriage is worse than all of that.

My post was made in response to Proposition 8, who's local constituency thought it be a good idea to strip gay folks of the right to marry, than to do anything useful at all.

:) I know you werent serious. And yeah, Im TOTALLY against Proposition  8. Which is why I will be doing this.... http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=36097962218&ref=ts I wanted to make it to the rally last weekend but I was bed ridden sick. bleh...

That and doing lots of emails to washington senators (sorry not in oregon). Oregon fairs a better chance but support is still support.

I cant believe with all the other HUGE issues like Global Warming (my choice) we are still bickering over silly discrimination stuff like that. Cause I do believe it is discrimination.

hmmm....hard to say....

I personally say Deforestation or Desertification, though they tend to pretty much the same thing(the former can cause the latter).  And it usually deforestation that cause most endangered species in my limited understanding.

There is no biology in prop 8! Not unless someone cheats! C'mon, how many men does it take to make a baby? Sorry, you cannot use women! lol

Uh, wasn't prop 8 to extend gays the pain of marriage? And isn't it about benefits, not sanctifying before God a union? I'm just asking. Personally I think the state should get out of the marrying business.

I'm afraid of the magnetic polarities of the earth reversing. ;_; I have a theory that when it happens, all of our technology based upon magnetical force shall cease to function, thus causing mass chaos. ;_;

I chose deforestation because I enjoy the outdoors; fishing and hunting with my father has always been something I enjoyed. (Speaking of which, I should call him since his birthday is almost up).

I noticed that global warming is easily the leader of the pack.  I don't know if this would've been relevant to your research or not, but I think global warming is being over-rated and is a natural process.  We might be helping it along, but not enough to say it's our fault.

one major volcanic eruption and global warming is on hold for a couple of years. see Mt. Pinatubo, or St. Helens SO2 output over the past few years.
