In the ones that you buy online they don't have the toe part. Those ones are quite comfortable too. I haven't run into any problems with them yet.

my first kcon I went as rock lee. I took some leather boots, cut out the toes and the heels, then spray pained them blue. it was wonderful except that the front parts where it would cut rubbed against the sides of my feet, and they were raw. bye the 3rd day they actually bled right after I left the hotel room, so I didn't cosplay that day. probably the worst injury.

OR!!!!

when I was dying my rock lee jump suit in the giant pot on the stove, and a -bunch- of water spilled out. I caught the pot as it was falling, and since it was metal it shocked the crap out of me and I fell and hit my head on the kitchen table

that sounds painful.

I still love how my worst injury was burning my hand while making the claw for Albel. He has the claw in the first place because of a burn to the same hand XD

ah man that's worse then when I had burned one finger in 07(my first con) and I was working for someone in the dealers room. all the boxes were dusty/dirty and I didn't have a bandaid and the burn bubble thing popped. it hurt so badly. then when I tried to fix my costume that night I burned myself again. so I had another burn on my hand. D: but hey I learn to try not to burn myself now. ^_^

It was just red and painful. After a while it started to peel but nothing more then that.

I try not to burn myself but the hot glue guns really enjoy burning me XD

I know it's like it's their plan to burn people. even when you try to not burn yourself it happens.

I've gotten several burns from those damn things. I actually almost got one this weekend. they need to make burn resistant gloves that are meant to be used for glue guns. not cooking or anything like that, we don't need OVE gloves. XD

I got a booboo but it wasn't from cosplay, it was me being dumb. I was getting my tooth brush out of my shower caddy and cut my finger on my razor x.x

Im surpriseingly stupid with my cosplays. Like the time I forgot some shoulder pads for the sasori torso and the wire in it cut up my shoulders.

Anyway with all those talk about the ninja shoes and burns I found the ninja shoes kind of anoying.....and ive burnt myself before but it was with an iron....

Ninja shoes are FUN! You can throw them at people and it hurts! :3
