Likely going to have to re-install firefox if not windows.

UPDATE:  Yeah looks like IE google links are not working either..   Oh well, maybe it's time to start backing up data.

Meh, I hope so to, this might be a good excuse to get a new hard drive.  I could set the old one to slave and not have to worry about all the malware on it.

Try Opera.  I ran on Opera for a few months waiting them to release a Firefox patch that actually worked on my old clunker.

well it is one of a number of sites.

I got some ad-ware software, cleaned off a whole bunch of stuff virus scan didn't get then rebooted, and now it doesn't boot.

Ouch.  Do you have your system restore disc?  It might be able to boot your computer up.

weee random computer issues....

for me yesterday the network card that i have in my computer stopped working and out of random curiosity i turned on the on-board network plug that has not worked since like a year ago....it started working so i switched the second one off (the one that wasn't working) and everything is fine now....

funny thing is that the night before the exact opposite thing happened to my dad xD

I thwacked it enough to go into safe mode, then rebooted it normal and it works fine now.

So I finally after contortions installed new hard drive.  Computer boots up in 27 seconds!!!
