I don't know how long I've been into anime, but as of this year, I feel like I've gone back to being a complete newbie. The only cosplay I've ever actually done was of Lust from Full Metal Alchemist and that was four years ago. After that, I've pushed myself away from anime/manga and focused on school and keeping connections with friends. Now I see a whole new outlook of convention centers and it makes me feel puny compared to a couple years ago when I first started out.
If it's not too much trouble, can someone help me re-route myself into the anime world. Maybe a few tips about cosplay and the random stuff that I've been noticing like the Spoon Kingdom (this may sound like an absurd question, but I'm just super sheltered). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't really tell you how it started out, but we have ranks like King, Queen, Jester, ect.
At one point, we were planning to do a spoon cosplay, but that didn't work out, and for a while, there were also some forks. (Ah, I'm not explaining very well. Haha.)

I'm just wondering how people are going to dress up as spoons.
Do they dress up as a huge spoon?
Spoons as an outfit?
It's confuzzling... xD

no, Like, I'm a spoon princess...
So I would get a big princessy dress and then find some way to decorate it with spoons. accessories, embellishments on the dress, etc., etc.

But I'd say...go to a meetup, definitely. It's one of the best ways to make friends which freakin' CUBES the fun you can have at a con.

I've gained a few that I met at the zoo, but it all ended so quickly that I didn't get to know them as much, but I hope that I get to talk to them here and maybe open up a little unlike how shy I was then. lol ^_^;;
