Alright change of pace. I am planing on buying the sword. I have no way of making a really good one so I was going to go with this.

Now here is my problem. There are two people so far that said they will make it for me. One said for $250 but there might not be as much detail as I want and the other for $200+shipping (which will be about $250) With that I may have just answered my own question XD

but here are examples of their work (I'm not going to tell you which one is which). Please tell me which one you like best.

So which ones do you like better?

I'd say if you don't have access to power tools or the skills to use wood (and you don't want it that heavy) insulation foam would be the best bet. Pink or blue, I forget what the major color is we have here. Can be easily shaped into whatever you want it to be and it will be light. Just make the handle run through a bit of the blade so it has stability. And you'll probably want to do something on the outside of it to give it a bit of strength so it isn't easily knicked and all.

I remember someone posted a pretty good tutorial on this stuff for making Zabuza's sword so it wouldn't be too hard to switch it up a bit for Cloud's buster sword. Are you wanting to do the full version where all the mini swords are put together for the actual buster sword?

Well I did a little bit of searching and a lot of people out there make fantastic props >_> So I may end up buying one. We'll see. I sent out a bunch of emails asking for a quote. I would like to keep it under $250

well, I like whichever person made that sword. I don't know what the actual thing is supposed to look like, but the quality is very nice.

I also like the sword. If they've made a Cloud sword before, and that's how it turned out, then I say go for it. The other one's cool, too. But have they made swords before?

Sad day. I think I am going to go with the guy that made the sword. The other person has made swords before but the paint job wasn't that great. I'm sorry that the picture isn't showing up. I can show it to you some other time. The sword is just all 6 of the mini swords that he has in the movie put together. I think it is only shown at the end of the movie

yeah the one where they are all combined. I should be making my first payment some time this week

I'll tell him that he can send it out anytime after Sakuracon. As of now I wont have a lot of money but I am only planning on paying for the room not buying anything

Also I figure you would like to have the money for the Cloud costume BEFORE sakuracon so you can use it there....right now I am not sure if I can do that but I will be able to let you know as time gets a little closer ^_^

Alright that's fine. I'm sure I can make a bit of money before Sakuracon. I'm not really too interested in buying much there. I got 150$ for my birthday to help pay for gas and the hotel, but I'm not sure how much I'll have left over for food and such.

Oh right. Then I'll remember to bring it with me! It looks a little pathetic right now. The hairspray I had in it has weighed it down. XD And the back and most of the side is still shoulder length.

Haha alright. I need to get some tips from my mother on how to cut hair with hair cutting sizzors that short. I only really have a basic idea. I've only cut chunks of hair I'm going to style. And they aren't all one length. x.x
