Although a large number of accounts indicate they were created at Dec. 14, 2004, this was due to the conversion from another forum software. Account creation dates must not have carried over.

In fact, posts go older than that. The oldest post in the database was posted at Apr. 26, 2004, at 12:41 PDT.

I know but that's because there was some weird hiccup on the forums that caused it to delete my username and posts and, for some strange reason, my posts returned to me months later.

Yes, you are one of 3 users this happened to. I don't know what the original source of the problem was (could have been anything, a bug in phpbb, an interrupted action that should have been in a transaction but wasn't, etc.). The 3 users involved had created new accounts, and when I fixed it, I manually edited the database to merge all their posts and PMs between each user's old, broken account, into the new one. So your account creation date is your second account.

even then tho that date is strange because, as jeff said the forums were re-forumutalted and the dates didnt carry over after, which is why the early-est dates are the december 2004 on the 14th when peeps tried to login and wee like "whaaa what happend?", and even then its hard to say how long peeps have been registerd because we dont know the reg dates from that forum OR the forum before that, it had more of eugene collage base

so where my reg date for here is December 19, 2004, 06:09:45 AM
I have been on K-con forums since I want to say, at least septemeber 2003
and the peeps I remeber from those days? bigguy way there, tom was there and i am pretty sure you were there too negima

Unfortunately I can't find any date that has more than the front forum index archived. However, I have browsed it in the past (perhaps at a different URL?). I remember finding accounts and posts by people who were on here, including a post stating interest in helping with the con by a couple of people who are now the founders. I could never find that post again, but I saw it somewhere in archive.org.
