New Star Trek movie! This week!

Anyone planning on seeing Star Trek the first showing? I was just about to buy my ticket for the IMAX showing at Bridgeport Village.

Plan on seeing it multiple times with a few groups of friends and family. Really looking forward to what Abram's will do with the storyline and characters. It's good to see some new blood in the franchise, maybe we'll finally get some good story telling

A buddy of mine told me that down in Texas they had advertised a special screening of the remastered version of Wrath of Khan. When the theater was filled Leonard Nemoy came out and announced that there was no remastered film but that they audience was going to get to see the new Star Trek film. That would have been cool to be at heh.

Yeah I heard that too. I bet there were many wet seats that night  . I just bought my ticket for the thursday 7pm showing at bridgeport village theater. Woot!

not sure when gonna get to see it, its kida sad for me and my brother cuz our dad is the biggest trek fan but we havent seen him in years we want to see it but it will make us think of him

Good for you, I'm glad you could afford it. Although I greatly desire to see it multiple times, budget does not permit me. I will have to wait for the dvd.

Anyone see it on the IMAX? My wife and I had to sit far too close, so I was wondering about seeing it again, but do the full meal deal with IMAX. WHy not?

I saw it in the regular theater today, at Lloyd. It was great! I almost didn't watch it because I don't normally have any interest in the series, but I really liked it.

I saw it on the IMAX. I thought that it was worth even though they charge an arm and a leg for the ticket. When I saw it though I sat three rows back (my fave spot), so I can't tell you what it is like farther back. I would assume it would be just as good.
