Please take the time to read the warnings and ratings on each fic for yourself as I will not be posting them.

I am currently working on Chi Visits the Farm.  I have been having real trouble with this, because I wanted it to be believable, yet funny.  Problem is that many of the subjects brought forth by Chi visiting Hideki's home are far from humorus. Like Meet My Parents Chi, Chi Visits the Farm is turning out to be a serious drama.  I find myself not wanting to finish it, because I myself have lost interest in the story.  I have hope that I will come up with a way to salvage it.  Inspiration just hasn't struck me yet.  Maybe I wiill have it ready for you this year Rem.

Meantime I really need clarification on this. Are folks only to list works of fanfic **of our own**? Or **that we've enjoyed by anyone?**
If so shouldn't we get their permission in some way first?
What would such permission need to look like?
Anyone know the legalities of this?

Most of the list are recs of fics by people who were not present at the Mini-con. As far as I know, recommending a fic is perfectly fine and legal, its just like rec-ing a book....it would be different if the fics were based on a series where the author asked readers not to write fanfiction or if the fic was not online and someone posted it online without their permission.

Quillslinger and Dualism are absolutely AMAZING! "My Girlfriend, Who Lives In Canada" and "Sergean General's Warning" are so fab and wonderfully written.

Um... I just thought that I'd go ahead and whore out some good fanfics I know of.

I'm pretty sure most Death Note fans have read this but in case you haven't, go read it. It's...stunning. A masterpiece.

i dont ussualy read or write fan fiction, but im a bit partial to gundam wing cause really if you ask me those boys belong together....

my favorite of hers is called "alone" i think... if i remember right. THeres a lot of Yaoi and shes a fan of angst but i feel she pulls it off fairly well.

So, I updated the list with all the suggestions! I hope to have this list grow, maybe even get reviews for the fics too.

I have a quite a few more suggestions, but I don't want the list to get too Gundam Wing heavy...which is also a reason I'm leaving my fic info off... ^^;;

I think it might be kinda pointless for me to pimp my own stories, but whatever.

The contents of that profile include Final Fantasy VII, D.Gray-Man, Trinity Blood, Stargate SG-1 and at some point probably some Star Trek and Kuroshitsuji. In case you were wondering.

Recommendations, on the other hand, I have a somewhat larger repertoire of.

Snappleducated, who writes fantastic angst and amazing humor.
The Dark Scribbler, specifically Vader's Problem.
New Level Darkness' Death Note fiction, specifically Death Note Introductions.

I could probably find more if I really thought about it, but these are all extremely good and stood out to me.

The only Sawyer I can think of is Sawyer Cat from Cats Don't Dance.  For some reason I don't think that is the Sawyer you have in mind.  What show(s) are these characters in?

Yes, but what if it's not your fic? Can you still do the Creation Station stuff with a proper disclaimer?

In the past we've tried to encourage people wanting to read another's work to ask permission first. Either in person if its a friend, or via email if you found the fic online. Although, if you state before reading that you did not write the fic, cite the author's name or penname and possibly give a link or other info on where to find the fic, I'm sure that's okay. After all, people post their fics online so that people can read them! ^__^
