after today's shenanigans. i have decided we should go see district 9 in cosplay. SEXY. i must go and it will be funz!

If I ever cosplayed for District 9, I would cosplay as Cthulhu.

But I am planning to go see the movie today, and I have no Cthulhu cosplay lying around, heh

I would buy a bald cap and put the stripes from Alien Nation on it.

If you've never heard of the show Alien Nation you should read about it to see the similarities between it and District 9. They both took a premise and went in different directions with it.

I remember Alien Nation, heh. I always just called them the Sponge-Heads, lol

While entertaining, I think the main reason I never was able to get into the show was the fact that it is hard for me to enjoy anthropoid aliens (little green men, grey skinny men, _______ men (fill in the blank)). That is one of the prospects of District 9 for me, because they are so non-human. I know appearance isn't everything, but I really like the more monstrous entities when aliens are concerned.

Anyway...that was a ramble, sorry heh

Yeah, I probably wouldn't do that. Cosplay must have a reason for me (but that's just me...I like to cosplay in relation to what I'm attending - aliens for aliens, etc.).

I saw the movie today as well, and I have to say that it was one of the better movies I've seen lately. It still has me thinking, and I went about twelve hours ago. I definitely plan to see this again.
