I don't mean to advertise or anything, but there is this really cool place in north portland that i go to. And we need more members. it's called the intel computer clubhouse. as you may have discovered, it is sponsored by intel. there are hundreds of locations worldwide. and it's free. a basic rundown of the clubhouse : there are about 12 computers that have lots of fun software on them. every computer has the full adobe package on them. like photoshop CS4. We have scratch, autodesk maya (only on one computer) pivot, 2 tablets, a scanner, a printer, and the most godlike thing of all here, is (drumroll) A 28inch SCREEN MAC! with all the cool programs. the mac is used mainly in the music station. where you can create beats, music, and even bring in your own musical instruments and plug em in to the studio or just record them. either way this is a fun place to go to when your bored. (i go just about every day) like i said it's free, it's fun, and all you need to do is get a permission slip signed to enter. (note: this program is only for kids age 12-18) if you are above this age you can volunteer and help teach kids about how to use these programs. like i said. we have a lot of programs, computers, and such, but not many members. the hours are 2-7 weekdays. (not weekends) and we are open during the school year. so come on down to the computer clubhouse in portland OR.
