Cross Game episode 1 - Did you cry?

OK, I said I would do this on the Anime that made you cry thread.  When I played this at my Anime Friday, everyone cried.  I want to know who out there cried, and who didn't.  I also gave an option for those who have not seen it yet to say so.  Please don't say no if you haven't watched the show yet.  I really want to know if there is anyone who can watch Cross Game episode 1 all the way to the end for the first time, without knowing what is going to happen, who does not cry.  Crud, I even know what is going to happen , and I still cry when I watch it.

At first I was like "I don't get what's so sad about this," and then BAM!!! So yeah, I'm totally crying right now.

I've not seen it yet. But if it's sad, I can guarantee I'll cry. xD
I'll have to put it off for a little while though. I'm already emotional enough. xD

I watched it specifically to answer this.
I did not cry. I can see how you could, but I didn't.

I didn't either. >: I was tingly, but it wasn't sudden enough for me. Because of this, it was too obvious what was going to happen. xD That, and I guess what happened happened too slowly to really strike, and I didn't really bond with the characters any.

Yeah, I kinda felt like there wasn't enough buildup. I didn't get attached to the characters enough. I need at least an hour, Tales of the Abyss pulled it off beautifully in my opinion.

If you hadn't known that something tragic was going to happen.  Would you have cried?  It is impossible to have this poll without giving away the fact that there will be a reason for crying.  My main interest in this anime was the fact that when I watched it I had NO IDEA what was going to happen.  The fact that it happens in the very first episode...
