Could we try and fit a Ranma 1/2 photo shoot sometime, maybe just a little one?
But, I have no idea who else is going as someone from Ranma.

On the very post post is ask that you only bring time, place and day here. It is up to you to figure that out. I do not know who is cosplaying from what.

If you're in doubt, Hilla, just pick a time and post it here. Seeing it in print is much more important than rallying people beforehand, anyway.

(Trust me, all the photo shoots I've gone to that weren't on a printed schedule pretty much fell through.)

My apologies then. I missed the schedule by a day. (not to be ultra rude, but some of us are incredibly busy too, and can't devote all our time to checking the main page for the schedule. I'd been working the entire day and didn't finish until 3:30 am, but anyways, I'm urging people in the few cosplay threads i go to to figure out a time NOW since we do, in fact, have a schedule now.)

Also, I guess we don't need to include the King's Game on the schedule since it's happening directly after the photoshoot, so I guess you don't need to worry about that?

I wanted to announce that the swimwear shoot will be scheduled in the pool in the plaza level, so when you get a chance, have the pool shoot say 4 PM Sunday at the plaza pool.

Legend of Zelda: Sunday at 1:30pm, meet at 2nd floor foyer, move to fountain plaza
Super Smash Bros/General Nintendo: Sunday at 2:00pm, meet at fountain plaza

Alright I sent the list into staff. As I changed the first post I will also say it here. I will still make updates but these updates will not be on the hard copy at the info booth, so it will be up to you to get the word out.

Does the Vampire Knight photoshoot have to be at the same time as Cosplay Chess, again?! This might be the second year I wont be in the shot because I might be at the match.... How about an hour earlier at 11? It doesn't look like this conflicts with any other shoot that day. Anyone else think this too?

I would have asked this earlier, but I haven't had any internet for almost two-three weeks now.

This also a more effective way to go about it.

The reliability of forum RSVPs is pretty low. It's as good a method as any for determining what time is best for a photo shoot, but you can't guarantee anyone will come unless it's also posted in writing somewhere.

A pocket guide insert would be better, but since we don't have that, I'll be sure to point cosplayers to the info booth so they won't miss out.

To specify on behalf of the Girl Genius cosplayers (since I now know there will be more than just my group! SQUEE!) the panel starts at 8pm and is designed to run about an hour.So I guess the meet up would be at 9pm.

Last year we printed out the photoshoot schedule and had it available at the info booth. Who is in charge of info booth this year?

That would be cool indeed, but I'm hoping the Info Booth is going to have enough staff this year.

It looks like just showers so those don't last too long and on Sunday it is a chance of showers and Monday a few. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it is raining during your shoot you can find somewhere inside to do it or change the time.

I was very disappointed in the specifications for the schedule. I wanted to take part in the vocaloid shoot, which was on the second floor, but staff began clearing out everyone from the second floor just before 11 and there was mention of going to the 23rd floor by stairs and in my shoes that was the worst thing ever and I was tired by the 4th or fifth floor then someone shouted that they were back on the second floor.

Then I wanted to go to the Left 4 Dead shoot on Monday and I was like "Alright, parking garage, this will be EASY." I leave my room, go down to the floor, ask around to know if anyone knew any more specific, found out there were like 4 different parking garages on that block alone, went to each one then gave up.

In short as a suggestion for the future probably be MUCH more specific about locations and go somewhere you know for SURE they won't boot us from.

My request for this thread for next year is to change the "Dragonball" photoshoot to the "Dragonball universe" photoshoot. I ran into some DBZ cosplayers who didn't show up at the shoot because of that.

That's kinda weird of them. DBZ is by far the most popular installment of that series; why did they think it'd be Dragonball only? Oh well... I guess it just goes to show what I've said all along about the con events -- it doesn't really exist until it's in print.
