The Slants at 2010?

I was reading on http://www.facebook.com/theslants?v=feed&story_fbid=272943908308 that they are "working on" Kumoricon 2010...how likely is that to happen?  I'd love to see them again.

I second this, not only because of their music, but because they're a swell group of folks who love contributing to the chartiy auction.

Always good to have them around and I hope they do come to Kcon for a show. Hope the mics work properly this time around. Seems as if their mic situation is always hit or miss.

last time they were here, they had a few mic problems, but nothing too bad in my opinion

Well in order of rememberance.

2007- First show I believe- Aron's mic was not working properly AT ALL, could barely hear him and I was like 3 rows back
2008- Perfect
2009- Not The Slants but Johnny,Simon and Tyler's side band Last Stop Tokyo, Simon's mic was way too low but Jonny's was perfect.

So technically that means that if they show up this year- it should be all dandy.

Ah yes, well at least they had cool shirts to sell for LST. I don't believe we have any other musical acts (have not checked) booked yet so I can hope they score a K-con favorite.

My friend let me borrow her Slants cd it was scratched, but now it's not. I missed their show last time they were here, my friend hurt her ankle so I was a good friend and stayed with her.
