I think our reasons for liking or disliking vampires says something about your soul...
I like the idea of someone who has seen it all, a truly old soul... the idea of a creature
that can outlast the ages... outlast history and memory is amazing. The thoughts, the
ideas, philosophies of someone with that much understanding of the ages, who can look
at our race objectively and see it for what it is... it would be amazing to sit down and
chat with someone who looked at our mortal existence through hungry, thoughful, and
never changing eyes.
Also, there is that whole better stronger killer aspect, in creation, as far as cunning and
wit and innovation and deception are concerned, there is no greater threat to life than
man. Even a tiger or bear or lion can be outwitted and caged by the simpliest of traps,
and yet men are building more and more ingenious ways to kill eachother every day, but
nothing is so dangerous as the death you invite into your life, the death you revel in and
beckon to you. To be able to manipulate so wonderfully, is truly a work of art. Horrible yes,
but beautiful at the same time.
