Searching for Steampunk media

I'm looking for some steampunk (industrial, dieselpunk, whatever) to watch, or read.

Does anyone have favorite movies, tv shows, or books that they would recommend?

(Random googling isn't as productive as I'd like.)

Any and all suggestions welcome!

Around the World in 80 Days is a good book. As for movies, the newest Sherlock Holmes is rather steamy.

The Brass Goggles forums is an excellent place to look.

Check out Miyazaki's Castle in the Sky if you haven't already.  Also, Nausicaa and Kiki's Delivery Service have a bit of a steampunk feel to them, but not as much as CitS does.  Other than that, I only really know of steampunk games.

Believe it or not, Wild Wild West is a great Steam Punk. Steam Boy, The Time Machine, anything Jules Verne, Chrono Crusade is semi Steam Punk.

I've been into this Manga which I guess is pretty steampunk ^^
Its called Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee), and I'm actually planning a cosplay from it some time soon ^^

I wonder if you could consider Edgar Rice Burroughs, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and the guy who wrote the Doc Savage series, to be of the Steampunk genre?

I think Burroughs and Doyle could be done Steampunk... as a reboot thing.

If you haven't already, read Jules Verne's 20000 Leagues Under the Sea.  It's not exactly steampunk, but it's an important component in recognizing where steampunk comes from. (ie it's probably the most significant Science Fiction novel of the mid-1800's)

I thought pretty much anything Jules Verne was original steampunk... just think of the end of Back to the Future 3!

There is a radio play called "Clockers" that is a steampunk adaptation of the movie Hackers.

I plan on reading Steamed... but only because I'm already a Katie Mac fan and I've had to wait out all the dragon stuff.
