Hiya all,
I was just at
Walmart buying
Ponyo and I noticed that they have
Moribito ~ Guardian of the Spirit - Complete Collection for only $30. Now this is all 8 Disks of the 26 episode series in both English & Japanese 5.1 and 2.0 stereo Widescreen. I couldn't pass this one up. So far the only place I have been able to find it is at
Walmart. I suggest you rush over and get yourself a copy.
The only thing that disturbed me was the cheap "stacked" case. They put all eight disks one on top of the other on one spindle. I replaced it with a 10 disk DVD hard case I had that stores the disks on separate pages and I am pretty happy with it overall. It is hard to find any anime that will give you eight disks for $30 these days. The fact that it was this show (Probably one of the most visually stunning and breathtakingly beautiful shows in the last 5 years) makes it all the more worth grabbing, and a lucky find.
Oh, and I got
Ponyo as well for $25 for the Blu-Ray version. So anyone coming to
Anime Friday this week?
