[Sakuracon] Masquerade vs [Muse] Concert
« on: March 11, 2010, 05:12:37 pm »

This is my dilemma. =(

I am going to Sakuracon. Awesomeness and all. However, I want to go to the Masquerade ball. This proves to be problematic because there is a Muse concert going on at the exact same time as the Masquerade just like 10 blocks away. I'm from Oregon and the Rose Garden concert is on Saturday of Sakuracon, which then is a void possibility since I'll be in Seattle.

I vote Sakura-Con! You must have captured like, only 10-20% of the schedule in that screen shot.

But, even if you skip that part, you can go the rest of the weekend.

I am sure that if you asked AnimeMatrix, she'd say that the Masquerade Ball is the only part that matters ;)

I'd say Muse just because I'd love to see them live. I think what it really comes down to is do you want to spend the extra money to go see Muse or not spend money and go to the masq?

TRUST ME! I'M FRAKKIN' MAD ABOUT THIS TOO! And I AM the Masquerade Ball Coordinator for Sakura Con. I was super-excited to hear that Muse were coming to Seattle and Portland, but then I heard the dates and was like NOOOOOOOOOOO! There was almost a point and time when I was thinking about skipping lol (I have a good assistant...but I'm not going to- but I'm still tempted!)

If there was only a way to bring Muse to the ball...

(but I agree with Rathany- the Masquerade Ball is the only part that matters at Sakura Con j/k ;))

Oooh... I didn't hear about this show. I saw Muse play at the State Theatre in Minneapolis in 2006 when I was living there (I mean RIGHT there, I just had to take an elevator down from my apartment and go down the hall to get there). I really loved the show. They had a lot of cool props on stage with them, cool lights/videos and they sounded amazing live.

I would go to the show. You can go to the masquerade next year. Also consider that if you do go to the masquerade are you going to be thinking, "I could be seeing Muse..." all night? You might not have as much fun if that were the case.
