HELLO DANCERS~ x3

My name is Meilin and I am a major dance fanatic xD I specialize in Hip-hop and para para and can handle most routines thrown at me or interest me! ^^

So one day, me and my friend were talking and one day I thought, "Hey wouldn't it be cool if we made a dance cover group?" She thought it was a great idea, but heres the problem: We are only a two man group xD. We don't really have people around us that enjoy dancing to the stuff that we do or let alone dance different stuff other than what they know. It makes me sad really but there aren't that many people that are into the asian music culture...around us anyways xD

So I came to the forums in search of hardcore dancers that are willing to do this with me~ ^^ My friend and I both don't want people that are going to slack off and pretty much put no effort into this. We are serious dancers xD So far, we both know various para para routines from way back when we were in middle school *laughs because we've sorta retired from that* xD, an a good hand full of dances from different Korean artists (Big Bang, Tae Yang, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, SNSD) I don't really feel like listing ALL of the routines that we know cause there are a lot xD We also love to free-style! =D

So if anyone out there is interested, please post! I would really like to carry this out =D Thank you for your time! ^^

Any links to videos of these dances?

As a dance group, you guys should join the cosplay choreography panel!

It wasn't successful last year, but if there's enough interest I still really want to run it. I don't think I'll run it as a contest like I tried to do before (ahahaaa it didn't work orz) so it'll just be a panel to show off dances. Sound cool? Would you perform?

Haha well I would post them but I don't really feel like posting ALL of them~ xDD However, you could youtube them if you would like~ =D

And yes I saw your post for the cosplay choreography pannel! ^^ I will join and preform for sure if I end up finishing the dance that I would like to get done for your pannel...IF I get some more dancers =/ I really would like to though~ ^^

So is there a limit on how many times you can perform since it isn't really a contest? =D

No, no limit on how many times you perform.

Unless you've gone up like 10 times already and performed only by yourself. That's a little ridiculous.

I really only dance para para, and of course the two otaku dances Lucky Star and Hare Hare Yukai, I really don't dance anything else :'B

Konan-ChanX3: Oh well thats totally fine~ Maybe we can get together and para para for K-con? ^^ I haven't para para-ed in a long time but I know many of the ones from Hinoi Team and A LOT more since I've "retired" from the para para scene xD

I've been learning Hinoi Team's dances for a while now, I've sortof 'retired' from para para as well, school stuff and my para para team moved back to Japan last year. and that all happened when I moved from Bellevue WA to oregon.

edit: I'd love to do that at Kumo, I just need to remember most of the dances.

I'm currently trying to learn Night of Fire, but with dial up and the lack of motivation [school blegh] I put it on hold. I should start re-learning everything soon though. I'm alright for a para paraist, aside from knowing HHY and LS like the back of my hand we [my group from WA] really didn't do much, in all honesty I think I was the most enthusiastic out of everyone.

The one I do remember nearly fully is Soran Happies w/ Neko Hiroshi. that was one of my favourites.

I know Night of Fire, King Kong, Ike Ike, Yeah! and Sing Na Na Na from Hinoi Team ^^ And I also know Mecha Macho Boom Boom from Gyaruru~ :3

Soran Happies was the first Para Para I've ever learned actually! xD I would also recommend easy para paras like "Let Me Be With You" and Caramelldansen. AND YES! There is a para para for that besides that stupid little move that EVERYONE DOES XD

These are already reversed so you just copy what the people are doing =D These are highly the easiest one that I've learned xD

I've been trying to learn Ike Ike but my internet hates me, and Youtube too haha.

Thanks Death, I'll look at those when I get the chance. Next time I'm at my girlfriends I'll pull the videos off of youtube and stike them on my PSP.
