Robin Hood Festival! Saturday July 17th

This is only a week in advance, but here it goes.

All day long the city of Sherwood is holding their annual festival and I'd like to see what cosplayers might invade and check it out. For bus people, a ride south on the 12 to the end of the line and you're there. For drivers it's just a hop off the freeway from Tualatin/Wilsonville, or a cruise down 99W.

The festival is Ren fair themed, but any costumes or normal clothing are welcome.

So does this sound like a possible meetup opportunity?

Robin hood seems like a nice theme, is it a renaissance/live combat kind of thing?

The festival is renaissance themed, and this year there will be Amtgard boffer chapters marching in the parade and fighting down in the park.

I went with my dad and his gf, and this was a lot of fun! Fairly big, lots of stuff to do and things for sale.

I've been gowing to the Robin Hood festivals since I was like three lol
(since I've lived in sherwood for that long)
and have to say though the festival is always pleasant it has lost the main chunk of ren that it used to have.
Just a big saturday market vibe these days Still a fun outing with friends just sadly not what it used to be
