Happens every year: the con cold

I love ya k-con really do but my husband has succumbed to the dreaded con cold
he is feverish and sinus plugged n conjested, my poor little hunny bun.

Any one else?

if so remeber to cover you mouth and wash your hands often to avoid spreading it,
 and drink lots of water and juice soup and ibprofen and other cold meds, and bed rest

This is my first con cold in ages, but it's mostly sniffles and a little throat ache. Speedy recovery, everybody!

I didn't have one this year, I think I've built up a resistance from being in plays all those years (which does pretty much the exact same thing).
Also, I got WAY more sleep than the rest of you, lol.

I had one that started the day before fortunately i wasn't coughing yet and spreading my germs. Last year my boyfriend had it so it was my turn this year.

This sledgehammer is made of Dayquil and Tymanol Extra Strength. I am at work and I refuse to let this thing live longer than a few days.

Oh goodness, the cold got to me too. I've been having head aches off and on, a sore throat, and almost hurled my McDonalds. Though it didn't really ruin my Con experience at all. This being my first time and all.

Count me among the victims. Though the two nights since sleeping only 5 hours might have some impact on that. Gonna smother this bastard with as much meds as possible.

Con Flu hits me every year after I slow down and get some sleep. Usually clears up after a day or so, so it's not that big of a deal. I'm just getting over it right now.
The bigger part of it is the depression of not seeing people anymore

I feel sickly but it's probably just my allergies. I've been taking my medication again and I already feel a little better.

I don't think I'm getting a cold, but I could have played one too many Pocky Games... I think allergies are my main issue, I dealt with them all Summer after figuring out that a cold could not hold out that long. Insomnia to allergies in one go?
Dear Hypnos,
Though you blessed me with the gift of sleep this Summer, tell whoever the god of allergies is to lay off a bit. Also, get whoever is in charge of con colds to stop striking K-con. Go to some other con. Really.

I felt it coming on so what did I do? I started drinking my dad's ZipFizz things. They're super packed with vitamins. Normally I don't buy into that crap, but it actually stopped the cold. Plus it had caffeine so I could pull those awful late nighters.

I actually recommend that stuff. Especially the Pink Lemonade flavor.

And i almost caught a cold the day after the con, but i managed to cough out whatever sick stuff was in my throat and wash the rest of it down with some nice warm tea :3 now i'm fine.

I didn't get sick.  My nose was a little stuffed up for a day or so after, and when I would laugh too hard I'd start coughing.  Probably more of an allergies thing (lack of fresh air at times during the con) as opposed to an actual illness.

But overall, I felt fine.

I'm still very stuffed up, and have allergies...plus my body is so sore, and my lack of sleep doesn't help @_@, but it's worth it...because Kumoricon 2010 was amazing

My con cold came late but I knew it was coming because I kept feeling pregressivly worse and worse until it full on hit me. Now I'm coughing so hard it can cause me to puke.

I got sick at Sakura-con, which sucked, but I avoided it at Kumoricon this year!

Worse kind of sick... where you cannot breathe.... or food just smells horrible and you can't eat anything

Drink lots of water, if you need to eat, then eat bread and try to get under ssomething heavy and warm to sweat it out
