^ That was me for two years. Just remind yourself: Are you doing this for the fame, or are you doing it for the awesomeness?

oh yes, I had a cosplay malfunction this weekend. I thought I'd be smart and bring some liquor from home to save money on how many drinks I would buy at the bar... yeah, bad idea! By the time we got to the con my luggage was all wet -including the cosplays inside, and smelled of butterscotch.
On the plus side, we smelled good in our cosplays :D

--side note-- I did wash them in the sink and used the hairdryer and iron to dry them in time.

Great anime review site! http://www.otakureview.net/

Yeah I spent weeks making a sword for my friend going as Renji from bleach. The damn thing opened and everything was beautiful... right up until we got to the hotel room on friday and it broke. the only people who even saw it were some guys hanging out in front of the hotel as we carried everything in.

@ Sutie  - This is actually a good idea, but appears to have been poorly executed. :(   Remember if you bring drinks, they should be in a good bottle (in case its just some cheap stuff) it needs to be shut tight, and placed preferably in a ziplock bag of some type and in the middle of the bag surrounded by clothing (or something soft.)  Its all about being redundant with the safety of not just the booze but also the stuff in the bag from the booze.  Cheers!

I am just depressed that I am not able to wear a costume around other people who are also in cosplay. I cure this depression by making more cosplay :3 I am working on a new one now. I forced myself to wait till after con to start.

I never saw you in cosplay nikkiolie, just at anime hunters after dark, but it didn't seem appropriate into time.

I have that same problem, but even more so was transporting the other costumes I could change into.

I'm still kicking myself in the bum for trying to wear Tuxedo Mask, then change to a red ninja right after for my own panel, then hoping to have my Inuyasha cosplay ready for my skit in the contest. ><" Too much at one time.
