« on: November 11, 2010, 09:57:14 am »

There are two ways to officially sign-up for hosting a panel.

1) Come to one of the meetings and fill out a form.  However, these forms will not be available until the January meeting.

2) At the main website, there's the links on the left.  I honestly don't remember which one you want, but since the forms aren't available yet, I'd assume that the online link isn't available yet, either.

In the mean time, there's nothing stopping you (or her) from posting about your proposed panel!

Panel forms will be available online starting in January (the link is not currently there). Once they are available, you'll be able to find them under either the Programming or Forms tab on the main site's side bar. You'll be able to download a PDF version of the form which you can either fill out on the computer and email to programming(at)kumoricon(dot)org or print out, fill out by hand, and turn into Jaki at a meeting or other event (or you can snail mail it in).

The form looks like this:

You'll need to plan out your panel, create a title, put together a description, and figure out if you'll need any supplies or tech from the con. You're perfectly welcome to post your idea and try to get other people interested early! Or to ask for help in ironing out the kinks.

Hope that helps!

Go to the main area of the Panels & et cetera threads.  The only one that is pinned in place, "2011 Panels - FAQ," has the link you'll need.
