Recently, over the past few months actually, I've been steadily rewatching the Pokemon series.
I dare not touch Hoenn or Sinnoh, but yeah.
Also I have started to watch the movies in their respective places within the series.

Here's my question to you;

From what you remember of the series and movies, what is your favorite in each category?

Discuss.

My favorite episode happens to be at the end of the Orange Island Arc.
Brock had returned from being with Professor Ivy and everytime someone says her name
he goes into a state of gloom. Haha

My favorite movie is Pokemon 2000 hands down.
While the first movie was great for a first movie, it was to fast pasted for me.
The second movie had my favorite legendary, so I might be a little biased.

Hmmm let me think.

My favorite episode for one reason or another has always been "The Water Flowers of Cerulean City". Ever since I was a kid I've always loved watching that episode. I actually like any of the episodes that take place in that town just because they usually have a lot of cool Misty stuff.

And my favorite movie is Pokémon 3: Spell of the Unown , which I found out actually got released in the US on my ninth birthday so I feel awesome. xD I really liked it just because it was all illusion based and stuff. I can't explain it, it's just my favorite.

Oh god. XD this whole board just made me super happy. >w>

Anyways, I'm super picky, and refused to watch anything past the Indigo League. So basically the first season. However, I've been craving to watch further on.

My favorite episode was always "Holy Matrimony". x3 James was always my favorite character, and since that episode revolved around him, no other could compete. XD

I hear ya on that, but I watched into Orange Islands and Johto Arc's.
Hoenn wasn't terrible, but I missed Misty. That and during Battle Frontier they changed the voice actors.
ALL OF THEM.

So after that I stopped watching.

Don't really have a favorite episode, but Ash's final battle with Paul in the Sinnoh league was amazing. I also really enjoyed the battle with the Legendary Trainer.

My favorite movie is probably Pokemon The Movie 2000, or Destiny Deoxys. I also really, really like Heros, 4 Ever, and the Raise of Darkrai

All the episodes are soooo cheezy. Its annoying how team rocket try to capture pikachu EVERY single episode...

I like all the gym battle episodes.

As for the movie, from what I've seen, my favorite would probably be Pokemon Heroes.
Latias and Latios are so cool.

Favorite movie is the third movie, hands down.

For whatever reason I've always loved that one best. And it's available for instant play on Netflix, too.

About a year ago, I did a report for my Intro to Mass Media class regarding matters of exposure to children. I watched this banned episode and used it as a reference to how some companies make some effort to protect kids.

I remember that my favorite episode was the Ninetails episode "Just Waiting On A Friend"
That one made me sad. And I loved it ;-;
also Ninetails was my favorite pokemon at the time.
[EDIT] I just found that episode online and watched it. I sheded a tear or 2 D':

My favorite movie is "Pokemon 2000" and "Lucario and the Mystery of Mew" to my surprise not many people like that one. I do : C
Ive only seen the 3rd one once. and I barely remember it. All I remember is Ash getting attacked by unowns XD I should watch it again : D

My favorite episode is any one where Team Rocket crossdresses. I also like the one where we find out how Meowth learned to speak.

My favorite movie was Destiny Deoxys. That movie was the first time I ever saw Blaziken, so it has a special place in my heart for introducing me to my favorite Pokemon of all time.
