A deckle, vat and semi-hard sheet of wire will make that an incredibly easy task. In fact, I should make that mask for the next masq ball. It would be more charming than anything I've had in mind for the past month.
Blend a few sheets of white construction paper, pour it into a vat and add about 2 gallons of warm water. Capture as much pulp as you can in the deckle and let it dry over a wire frame that is either molded to the shape of your face or a hard plastic mask. I can't remember how to add ears though. I have a Keaton variation around here somewhere and that's the kind of template you need to make this look good. >.>'
