I fully blame Anwar for my massive crush on Dev Patel. It's all his fault. He's not even my favorite character, he's just tremendously pretty.

Also I would date Michelle in a heartbeat.

I always loved her. I guess because I was never overly fond of Tony, he was kind of a dick in s1, so I always sympathized with her...?

He is such a dick, but I think that's the beauty of him (don't get me going about Tony. He's my favorite thing).
And I just always think of her as the self obsessed asshat.
I mean, her boyfriend gets mushed by a bus after telling her he loved her and she goes off and shags his best friend?

It's not that I dislike Tony, don't get me wrong, but he always kind of pissed me off with the way he treated Michelle, so I guess I felt like she was kind of justified. Plus he was never exactly the most faithful, and admittedly he never shagged her best friend, but he did tend to treat her like dirt. Or at least that's the way I saw it, I'm sure other people have different interpretations.

The problem with her, though, is that she took it.
She never stood up for herself, never took the time to go "Tony, this isn't okay"
That upset me a lot.

I can see that. Though I did like the way she handled the whole Tony/Maxxie thing, I thought that was remarkably mature for a fictional teenager. Usually they're a lot more dramatic about that kind of thing.

I know. I actually came across it in an X-Men fanvid with them standing in for different characters before I'd ever watched the show, and kept watching it over and over again. Dayum. It's even better knowing who the characters are.

Though I don't really like the idea of Tony/Maxxie being canon beyond that. I'm too fond of James.
