Okay, so I have a few things to say...
I have gotten quite a few PMs from people who want to take over my panel, make another panel like mine, and are suggesting things and trying to over run how I am running this.
I would like all of this to stop.
I appreciate the help but this is my panel.
The reason there is no Mr. Kumoricon is because this is a trial panel. I want to see how well the outcome of this one will be before I decide on further changes/additions. I do plan on having a Mr. Kumoricon as well and my own planning has already been written down on my computer. But, again, I need to see how this goes first. Audience turn out, how Kumoricon staff works with it, how people react, how much time/money it will cost (for the prizes for the winners). This isn't a panel that can be randomly tossed together without a lot of thought put into it. That is why I decided to run only one of the two in my first year of doing this.
The reason I chose Miss Kumoricon is because of the male mascot we have this year and because people are less accepting of men as women. I know that Mr. Kumo would have a better outcome than Miss and that gives me a better idea of how things are going to run. You start out small and then get bigger, not the other way around.
Also, possible changes will be made if this happens next year which includes the addition of real women.
Not a lot of men crossplay and it has been hard for me to get people to join in. So next year this will also be open to girls who cosplay as girls. Thus, the pageant will focus on who is the better woman...a man or a woman?
The second year of Mr. Kumo will also bring in the same aspect of if a man or a woman is a better man IF things go over well with Mr. Kumo.
So again, I appreciate the help and suggestions but I would also appreciate you all to step back a bit and realize I know what I am doing. I ask for help because I want input on what you guys would like to see for prizes. I put things by you all on here to make sure it's not going to anger anyone and so you all know what is going through my head.
I'm not trying to make anyone mad but I am getting ticked off by all the PMs I get about people taking over my ideas.
I do not PM you about taking over your panels so please stop trying to take over mine.
