Alright people.
So I looked around the forum and didn't find a thread about this so ima do it
Anyone planning on cosplaying anyone from The Hunger Games?
Or is anyone cosplaying for their towns midnight showing? I know I am lol

*~*SPOILERS*~* <~~~ THIS needs to be posted on any post or reply if you plan to discuss the book at any time. I know most people read the books a while ago, but some haven't read them yet, or are in the middle of doing so. Because of that, please post it on any and all replies that are about the book.

As for the cosplay side of things, I'm cosplaying for my midnight showing.
I've got a flame and fire outfit all done just like the opening parade.
If you've got any ideas, your own cosplays, or just want to talk bout all the awesome clothes in the book, do it here

I am planning on cosplaying Peeta Mellark but I dont know which outfit I am going to do yet

Edit: um may not cosplay for the midnight showing but I will cosplay for next kumoricon

I really want to do Octavia next year, I think itdvbe a fun challenge.

I wish more people were going to the midnight showing here. Vancouver sucks. And I dun have money to go to the lloyd center like I wanted.

I live on the other side of 4th plain, over by the college, so this side of town I know better than over there.
But my boyfriend knows that area. I maaaay buy my tickets for over there instead >.> possibly stalk you

Alright! Tis gonna be done. I'm still waiting for my refund lol as soon as I get ii t I'm buying the tickets for me and my boyfriend and his friend Jamesis. I just really hope it doesn't get sold out before then

Yea, my boyfriend gets off work at 7 so I told him we have to be there by at least 730 or 8 to get in line. But knowing him he will be late.
And I still haven't gotten my money! So I haven't gotten the tickets yet and they're selling out uber fast. I freakin hate my school.
But anyways lol Id wanna get there to wait in line at like 6 or 7. If you can.

Aaaaaannnnd its supposed to snow or rain that night so I may not wear my dress so I'm coming up with another outfit to wear. Possibly her green shirt outfit that she wears in the book. Or myabe her training outfit if I can find a red tunic like thing.

if it snows really bad I cant make it i live in the hills of washougal and it is very easy to get snowed out or snowed in.... but I am in theater 8 and I will try hard to make it.

Yea, its snowing here too. I live on mill plain. And my boyfriend lives in battleground out in the mountains like things. So hopefully you'll be able to make it. I'm tempted to just ride the bus out there at like 3 and wait all day lol that way I won't be in the dark and stuck in the snow.

I really hope you make it. It'll be nice to have someone to talk to about the books.

OMFG SO AMAZING! I loved the movie I cried like a baby during rue's part I was a bit skeptical of lenny playing cinna but he pulled it off amazingly there was a few things they messed up on but it still was really amazing they followed the book pretty closely *falls over* what did you think?!?!

I warned my boyfriend when she woke up with the leaves on, that I was gonna start crying soon and he just looked at me lol and then I cried.
I was upset that they pulled so many things from the second book into the first movie, and how they messed up some very major details, but overall, it was hella amazing!
