I just realized that in the rules I did NOT mention that the past and present Kumoricon mascots are ALWAYS welcome / encouraged as entries for Cosplay. Since this year is Kumoricon's 10th anniversary, it might be fun to have a set of people wearing each of the past mascot costumes. I know a few people have made costume for the mascots over the years, but am not certain whether all mascots have been represented by cosplayers - yet. Anyone up to the challenge???
