Parking at the Con - is it easy to find?
« on: August 07, 2012, 04:16:50 pm »
This year will be my first time attending Kumoricon. I have yet to call the hotels directly, but can't get a room anywhere online unless it is a far away hotel. So I had a question on how easy it is to find a parking space during the convention?

I parked in a parking garage and on the street last year.  Fairly easily to find and I was close to the hotels as well.  Right across on the corner of the Hilton is a parking garage which wasn't too expensive.  Also it's free on the street anywhere.

A little clarification on the free parking thing: it's only free on weekends and national holidays.  All three days of the con will have free street parking, but the Friday before and the Tuesday after will not.

That is good to know. My wife was concerned about a lot of walking just to get to the con.
