One Piece 2012

Ello~ So I haven't found any threads of this and I was thinking it would be nice to bring back the old One Piece. I myself will be cosplaying Monkey D. Luffy this coming Kumo and was wondering if there would be anyone out there that would like to join me? Yes? No? Depending on how things go maybe we could try and do a photoshoot, meet up, or something along those lines.

Oh yeah, for sure. It's normally impossible for me to keep a cosplay that I wanna do for more then a week. But I'm pretty sure about Luffy.

yeah i just decided on law because i have a black wig and some grey contacts from an old cosplay. same here XD i have at LEAST  changed my costume plan 10 times(or more). and are you going to Sakuracon? im not sure if there are gonna be too many One Piece cosplayers (because its too awesome)

Hmmm, I would go to Sakuracon if my main cosplay people provided me with room and a rid (which they would if they went). But if I went to Sakuracon then I'd defiantly cosplay Luffy!

aww, it sucks that you cant go! this year is my first year there and i wanna see how nice it is..and if i had a friend with somewhat curly black hair i would try and get him to cosplay as Usopp. I say that because Usopp is my ABSOLUTE favorite anime character. its..just something about his nose and personality that gets to me XD

That would be fantastic if they would! I've never seen a cosplayer of him before, actually, I have barley seen One Piece cosplayers at all.

thats kinda weird. i hugged a great sanji last Kumoricon. i remember i saw a Robin,Crocodile,Nami, Sanji (three of them), zoro and a Sogeking (Usopp). once i saw Sogeking, i sprinted across the park to get a picture XDD

Whaaaat? The only cosplayers I've ever seen were Luffy cosplayers. I'm surprised you didn't spot any last con. You're so lucky. :C

well, i did but i just couldn't remember how many there were~ man, i hope one of the Funimation One Piece voice actors comes this year. like Todd does one character, but he isnt a main one. it would be super nice if we get Sonny Straight or something~

Yeah, all of the voice actors that come are usually ones who I don't know the anime or I don't really care for it.

yeah. most likely Todd Haberkorn is going to come again. He played one of the Meowban (or something) brothers when they were at Usopp's village.he also plays Italy in hetalia, (which i am also a huge fan of) and i think he portrays him quite nicely.

I'm probably going to cosplay Tashigi this coming con.

Sonny Straight came to Kumoricon two years ago, so it's feasible he might come again. Since Funimation finally got permission from Toei to dub season 4 of One Piece, it seems pretty likely to me we might get a One Piece voice actor as a guest, since the first set for season 4 will be released in summer 2012. (Or at least I can hope we'll get a major One Piece voice actor...)
