Okay folks this is a matter where I definitely would like to hear from YOU the Kumoricon forum goers. I've been a gamer since the early 90's. Unfortunately a lot of the games I have no longer work due to my system now being Windows 7. However recently I came aacross a website called Gog.com (Gog being short for Good old games). It has a number of games I want to either play again (Such as Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II, The Icewiond Dale games, Might and Magic VI: the Mandate of Heaven, and Might and Magic IV and V The World of Xeen), or want to play and beat (Such as Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor, and Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer).

I think I've heard of them being at a number of gaming conventions but I decided before I jump into anything I'd like some thoughts from thoe of you Kumoricon goers on your experiences with the site and/or your thoughts on whether I should join or not. If you have a better erecommendation I'd be happy to hear it. Well what are your thoughts on it?

I love Good Old Games.  I know for sure I bought Sim City 2000 from them.  I also have a few titles that they offered for free a various times.

They're also DRM free, so that's cool!

However, if you already own the games . . You could spend a little time learning how to use DOSBox, which is a DOS emulator, and run them using that.

For the DOS games you're quite correct Reppy, and I'll get around to it one of these days. But my biggest problems are the Might and Magic games starting with 6, and of course the Icewind Dale games and Baldur's Gate games.
