So, word on the forums is that there are more D.Gray-man peeps this year. I know I'm going with a group as D.Gray-man, and I know there are several other DGM groups out there.
If anyone is planning a DMG cosplay alone or with their friends, I wanna get it out there that we'd love to do a huge DMG photo shoot at con!
: ) Thoughts and times/places ideas?

I have a group of four or five that will want to do this. I love the location, I only worry about that the fact that Sunday is the day for the cosplay contest, and those who are being judged might now be able to make it, which means my group may not show as potentially half of the members will be in the contest.

Saturday probably would be the best day to get the most people, with the information we have now. As the first day, it's usually pretty busy, and there isn't anything that is always on day one that might interfere.

Has anyone actually looked at the photoshoot schedule? I just did, and so far the only people planning to use the Gazebo are doing their shoot on Day 2. Someone should tell them we want the gazebo (if it's still cool with you guys) on that thread. Is everyone chill?

That does sound awesome, I'm just worried because that's a pretty popular spot and we could end up being there when another shoot is going on.

There is a thread ON THIS FORUM that is the photo shoot schedule. Meaning, if someone were to say we wanted the gazebo there, we would probably get it.

There aren't too many of us D. Gray-man cosplayers, either. Last year the Ouran folks did there photoshoot at the gazebo, and there's a lot more of them then there are of us.

Okay, so I got Mehron Star Blend monster gray for Wisely, and I got to work with another color of the same product for my fem!Tavros cosplay at Fanime. My goodness did that stuff stay on my skin forever without any sort of powder or sealer over it. oAo I was equally gray until around midnight when I started rubbing it off by accident. Just worried about how Wisely's entire outfit is white...

xxToki, final seal by ben nye is your best friend when it comes to body makeup, especially if the outfit is white like you said. I know the feel, I'm pretty worried about gray makeup getting on my God Tier Sollux because the outfit is all dark colors. Maybe if you brought some kind of stain removal stick with you to con? : )

I'm assuming his outfit is white or, at least, some light color. |D I really hope color scans of him don't release after I finish his costume that aren't black-white. I'll definitely get both of those before the con. c: I had trouble with gray getting everywhere on my fem!Tavros cosplay while I was putting it on.

Just found out one of our members might not be able to come to con because their sister is getting married... We might have lost our Lavi this year for my group... Not to mention we are slackers, and two of us haven't even started yet... Of course, last year the same two of us didn't start until the week before con, and it turned out fine.

That's alright. Lots of people from our group decided not to cosplay from D. Gray-man after talking about it for months. At this point all I know is that our Tyki and I will definitely be there.

I will be going as Allen Walker 3rd uniform. I also have a LeenaLee & Lavi rooming with me. So hopefully we will all be able to make it to the photoshoot. :-)
