Hentai-oke panel 18+

I am interested in running my first panel this year. A Hentai Karaoke panel that lasts 1 hour long,There would b 2 half hour sessions where the room would be emptied so that other people can join the panel. Since the Hentai panels are ALWAYS FULL in like 5 mins. I would prefer it to be Saturday or Sunday from 12-1am.

So more details on this panel: It will be like the usual hentai panels where it would be set up as a theater but instead of just sitting there watching it we will have turns to "dub" over the voices. SO this should be more awkward, fun and entertaining!! XD

I am SOOO down for this!  I was terribly disappointed when there wasn't a hentai panel last year.  They're always so much fun   Word of advice: as they are always packed, and people will not want to leave between sessions, try to get the largest room you can   Sadly, it's always shoved into some tiny room that can't handle the popularity...

If this is done the night of the rave, as opposed to the J-Pop dance, I'm totally in with helping you run it my friend. =)

And I LOVE the idea of two rounds where people switch out so other's can join in on the fun. It'd be messy (like anything new at cons) the first time it's done, but this would be a great help to the solution of popular panels in small rooms, once the kinks were perfected on how to go about doing it.

I believe you told me Sakuracon is doing something similar of this nature, where they have an event people who RSVP'd on the forums gets first dibs at going. Another good idea, but I can see much wrong with it as well, that'll need to be worked out in order to prefect it.

You are my hero for arranging this!!!!  Can I suggest we watch our hentai with Japanese dub and, if need be, without subtitles?  It will be extra special awkward with a room full of guys with no sound

^ "Hentai" is porn in anime form. And usually a hentai panel involves sitting around watching it (and commenting loudly and jokingly at what's on the screen) so it's not as scary or creepy as it sounds, people get a kick out of it and make it a fun/joking thing. (In my experience)

So the Hentai-Oke panel will allow people to come up and dub what's on the screen to make it even more fun.

I just wanted to do a shout out to all of those who actually came to my panel. It was as great as I imagined it to be and more. I had great fun leading the panel and having so many participants take roles and even opposite genders aswell. I will have the panel next year too since it was such a hit. and we have our own inside joke too from the panel.
