I'm an under 16 minor so I can't get a real job. So me and my friends are gonna have to start a car wash to earn money. I'm mainly worried about the hotel prices. I guess were gonna room stuff lol. :)

First, that was a bad idea to mention room stuffing. Totally against not only hotel policy, but this forum policy.

Second, if you can't get the money, then, as much as it sucks, you probably just can;t go..It's life..Save up for next year

^ This.

Besides, this should be part of one's planning for a con, considering that it's usually the majority of the bill.

Other recommendations: offer to babysit, do lawn work, ask your parents, ...I'm sure there's more choices, but there you go.

It should also be noted that there are more reasons for hotels and conventions being anti-stuffing than just because of less funds.  There's also possible safety concerns.  What if a fire breaks out and y'all have to evacuate?  With enough people in a single room, there's a greater likelihood of someone getting hurt in the process, rather than if the headcount hadn't exceeded the recommended amount.

Oh, another possibility is this: https://www.kumoricon.org/forums/index.php?board=57.0  Look for what's available, or see if there is anyone still looking. Good luck!
My cosplay plans for 2022 (thus far): Vanir from Konosuba
My son's plans this year (thus far): Penguin Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh

In Oregon, Im pretty sure you can get a work permit, and get a real job as a minor. In Washington, my sister got her first job at 15, so you can get a job anywhere. You just have to look deeper than them telling you no.
Lots of things to do to earn money though;
Yard sale
bake sale
rummage sale
babysit
car wash
pet sit
pet wash
walk dogs
clean neighbors house
do odd jobs around your town (clean yards, rake leaves, water grass, pick things up for old ladies)
go door to door and just ask if there is anything you can do for $5 around their house (IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD ONLY!!!!! don't go to a complete strangers house, and always have someone with you, and make sure you have a cellphone or a whistle with you just in case)
ask your parents
ask your teachers
do older kids homework (totally did this in high school lol)
There are lots of things you can do to earn money, you just have to try.

There are plenty of ways to get money.
Take soda cans and bottles in
Have any old books that you don't read? Take them to powels
There is also a music store in Beaverton that will buy back CDs and movies (not sure if it is for store credit or cash)

In high school a way I saved money was to save a little of my lunch money each day. Not sure if you are taking your own lunch or getting lunch money, but instead of spending $5 on pizza and a soda I would spend $3 and get a sandwich and drink water then have $2 saved up each day....that turns out to 10 a week. It wasn't much but every little bit helps.
